I've had Catalina Crunch, Three Wishes, and Magic Spoon's chocolate-based cereals, and this one is easily the best of the bunch for me.
After trying Truely cereal (Cocoa). Honestly, not bad at all. Crunch is decent, taste is better than most protein snacks (not overly chalky), and macros are solid — around 18g protein, ~150 cals, and 1–4g sugar per cup. Definitely fills you up more than a normal cereal bowl.
But… the price is wild. When you break it down, you’re paying 3–5x what a regular cereal costs. The extra cost comes from whey protein (which is pricier than grains) + smaller batch production. Still, a lot of that premium is branding and convenience. You could literally dump a scoop of whey into oats or yogurt and hit the same nutrition for way less.
